Redundant power supply unit

DPS-200A

Description:
DPS-200 - a redundant power supply (RPS), designed for use with Ethernet and Gigabit switches, D-Link. RPS is in robust metal housing with a connector for connection to an AC or DC power supply (depending on model) and a connector for connecting to the internal power supply switch. RPS is an inexpensive device that allows to provide uninterrupted power in the event of an unexpected failure of the internal power supply switch, which may result in a shutdown of the switch devices connected to its ports, or the entire network. Providing necessary for the output power switch, the RPS can improve the reliability of the device.

Redundant power supply
Each RPS D-Link continually monitors the status of the internal power supply. In case of power failure immediately run a backup power source, so that the LAN switch and the connected devices can continue to work. This increases the fault tolerance of the network infrastructure and executed by protection network disconnects the power supply due to the failure of one of the network devices.

Easy and flexible installation
Installing the DPS Series device does not require any changes in the settings of the LAN switch. DPS-200 is equipped with an internal power supply and can be connected to any AC power source 85 to 264 volts AC with a frequency of 47 to 63 Hz with a standard power cable.

The modular redundant power supply
DPS-200 - is a modular, redundant power supply, which can be installed as a standalone device or installed in the chassis DPS-800 or DPS-900, rack-mounted. The chassis can be mounted in a standard 19-inch rack. The chassis can be installed more the RPS, which can be connected to the switches mounted in the same rack.
